10 young people + 10 adult mentors. One unforgettable challenge.

10 matched teams confirmed · Team at capacity
Spotters Project has joined Deadly Dozen Newcastle as an official Community Partner to create a powerful shared experience for local young people and the trusted adults supporting them.
Spotters Project will support 10 matched teams — 10 young people and 10 adult mentors — to participate together at Deadly Dozen Newcastle on 1 November 2026. With all 10 teams now confirmed, our participant group has reached capacity for this event. Together, they will train, prepare and take on the challenge — building confidence, consistency, connection and belonging along the way.
This isn't just about completing an event. It's about showing young people what becomes possible when someone stands beside them, believes in them and refuses to let them face the challenge alone.
Match
10 young people have been matched with 10 trusted adult mentors in one-to-one teams.
Train
Each team prepares together through movement, encouragement and shared accountability.
Show Up

Build Forward
The experience, feedback and stories will help shape future Spotters Project mentoring programs.
Deadly Dozen represents courage, teamwork, resilience and showing up when something feels difficult. These values closely align with the purpose of Spotters Project.
The event gives young people and mentors a meaningful goal to work towards together, creating connection through action — not just conversation.
With 10 matched teams now confirmed, we welcome partnership and in-kind support enquiries that can help make the event safe, positive and memorable for all 20 participants.
